MONOCHROME is a Roblox horror escape-room that's picked up serious traction fast, and the "code" everyone's searching for isn't a promo code for freebies — it's the actual elevator code you need to escape. Here's everything confirmed: the code, all four keys, how to deal with the monster, and why the elevator might not be opening for you.

Step-by-Step: Getting Started
- Load into MONOCHROME and, from the party menu, press Enter the House to begin the run.
- Read through the tutorial slides before dismissing them. They explain the monster, the escape objective, and the Radar gamepass, so it's worth the extra ten seconds.
- Find the boarded-up doorway marked DO NOT ENTER. Stand close to trigger the Plank/Pry prompt, then hold E to strip the planks away.
- Head down the stairs into the corridor network. It behaves like a maze, so keep track of which closets you pass; you'll want them later to hide from the monster.
Finding the Four Keys
Keys only ever appear inside dresser drawers in the corridor network — never on floors, shelves, or tables. Walk up to a dresser, press E to open the drawer, and look for a Take Key prompt. Empty drawers give nothing; move on without re-checking. Because the halls repeat and look identical, leave every searched drawer open — an open drawer switches its prompt to "Drawer Close" which gives you a visible marker that the room is already cleared.
Take each key back upstairs to the lock panel beside the elevator as soon as you find it. There is no benefit to hoarding them, and dying with a key in hand wastes the trip. The elevator code in MONOCHROME is not a fixed number. Both 0333 and 5343 have appeared at the keypad panel in different runs — the number is generated per server, not shared globally. The code is printed on a slip of paper sitting on a pale block somewhere inside the maze. Find the block during your run, memorise the digits, then carry them back to the keypad beside the elevator and enter them in order.
The keypad and the four-key deadbolts are two independent locks. Knowing the number in advance doesn't help if you haven't inserted all four keys first — the elevator won't respond until both conditions are met: all four indicator lights are green AND the keypad entry is accepted.
