Dating the Richest Girl in School is streaming free on Trimz, no account required, and the full series turns a simple romance premise into something a lot more heavily armed than the title lets on. It's a series from creator Shoyzn: an ordinary teen's quiet life is replaced by high stakes security when a stoic heiress claims him, and simple dates now involve elite snipers and military grade protection.
That's not a metaphor for her being intimidating. It's literal security detail. Here's what the series actually shows once that protection shows up.
An Ordinary Life, Claimed by Someone Who Travels With an Army
Rich love interest premises are common enough in school romance anime, but this one commits to the scale of "rich" harder than most. He's not dating someone whose family happens to be wealthy. He's dating someone whose presence comes with elite snipers and military grade protection, the kind of security detail usually reserved for heads of state, not high school dates.
That gap between "ordinary teen" and "protected like a VIP" is where the show gets its comedy and its tension at the same time. Every normal teenage moment now happens under watch, which makes even the simplest date feel like it's one wrong move away from becoming an incident.
Five Bodyguards, One Visibly Overwhelmed Teenager
One shot lays out the comedy of the premise better than any line of dialogue could. A lineup of massive, tattooed, bald bodyguards in matching suits and sunglasses stands behind the two leads at what looks like a public stadium, and he's visibly sweating, eyes half lidded with exhaustion, while she stands completely unbothered beside him. For her, this is apparently just Tuesday. For him, it's a lot to process before lunch.

In my experience with mismatched romance premises like this one, the best version of this joke isn't the bodyguards themselves, it's exactly this kind of reaction shot, the ordinary half of the couple still visibly adjusting to a world the other half has always considered completely normal.
She claimed him like it was nothing. His new security detail disagrees that any of this is nothing.

Underneath All That Security, It's Still a School Romance
Not every scene leans into the chaos. One quieter shot shows the two of them simply walking through the school courtyard together, surrounded by ordinary classmates, no bodyguards visible in frame. It's a small but necessary reminder that underneath the elite protection detail, this is still a story about two teenagers figuring out an actual relationship.
That balance matters for a premise this exaggerated. Without moments like this, the security angle risks becoming the only joke the show has. With it, the absurdity has something grounded to bounce off of.

A Date in a Dining Room Built for Royalty
A later scene puts the two of them at opposite ends of a long table in a candlelit, chandelier lit dining hall, the kind of room that looks built for state dinners rather than a second date. It's a striking visual, and it says everything about the gap between his version of normal and hers without needing a single line of explanation.
A simple dinner date becoming an event in a room like that is exactly the kind of scale mismatch the premise is built on, and it's a good sign the series is willing to keep leaning into it rather than toning the absurdity down over time.

An ordinary teen's quiet life gets replaced by high stakes security after a stoic heiress claims him as her boyfriend, turning simple school dates into events covered by elite snipers and military grade protection.
Who created Dating the Richest Girl in School?
The series comes from Trimz creator Shoyzn, who builds the premise around the comedic gap between an ordinary teenager's life and the extreme security that comes with dating an heiress.
Why does the heiress need elite security for dates?
The series treats her wealth and status as extreme enough to warrant protection on the level of a head of state, which is the central joke driving the comedy, an ordinary teenager suddenly surrounded by elite snipers and bodyguards just to go on a date.
What is Trimz?
Trimz is a free platform for AI animated short series, hosting independent creators like Shoyzn who publish original stories without needing a traditional studio or streaming deal.
Dating the Richest Girl in School earns its laughs by never softening the scale mismatch at its center. A lineup of bodyguards that would look at home protecting a president, a dinner date in a room built for state visits, and one very overwhelmed teenager trying to keep up, it's a premise that works precisely because it refuses to pretend any of it is normal. The full series is up on Trimz right now for anyone who wants to watch him adjust to his new, heavily guarded reality.
