Fisch just had its biggest update in months, and if you are still farming the same old money spot, you are leaving serious C$ on the table. The Skycrest update landed on September 5, 2026, and it reshaped where the best money spot in Fisch actually is, alongside a brand new Ancient Idol charm system. I have spent the past few days testing the fastest XP stack and the money routes that hold up post update, so you do not have to relearn the whole economy from scratch. This guide covers the current best money spot, the quickest way to level, and which Skycrest charms are worth chasing first.
⚡ Quick Answer
Fisch's strongest current money spot is Veil of the Forsaken at roughly 500,000 C$ per hour, with The Depths at night as the accessible alternative. For fast XP, stack rod mutations, a Shell of Wrath, and a night multiplier zone. For charms, clear the seven Ancient Idol Trials on the Skycrest island — the Skycrest content is permanent. Note: the 2nd Anniversary event is live now through October 6, so grab the Birthday Candle Rod and redeem Happy2ndYear before the window closes.
What's New in Fisch's Skycrest Update?
Fisch's Skycrest update went live on September 5, 2026, as part of the limited time Fischfest event, and it is the biggest shake up the fishing sim has had in a while. It adds a floating island called Skycrest, a new leveling track called Idol Favor, and a wearable Crest Amulet that holds up to nine stat boosting Charms at once.
"a Fischfest expansion featuring a mix of permanent and limited content"
Fischfest closed on September 12, 2026. Skycrest as a location is now permanent, and any Charms and Idol Favor you earned during Fischfest carry over, but the limited Fischfest quests and cosmetics are no longer available. The current live event is Fisch's 2nd Anniversary celebration, running through October 6, 2026, featuring Anniversary Pools, a Birthday Leviathan, and the Birthday Candle Rod — redeem the code Happy2ndYear for free anniversary rewards before the event ends. Fisch itself was built independently by Roblox creator WoozyNate and released on October 5, 2024, later transferring to the Fisching creator group, and it has grown into one of the platform's most played fishing and exploration titles.
